Towards the end of 2013, Alfalfa Contractors Accommodation started with a project to lower our carbon footprint by installing Heat Pumps in almost all of our units.

By the end of February 2014, 10 Heat Pumps have been installed saving around 20KW per month. Not only does this lighten the load on an already struggling electricity provider, it also significantly lowers our electricity bills which in turn helps us to keep our prices stable in spite of inflation and rising interest rates.

So far this project has been quite a success and we are already exploring our next green endeavour. Stay tuned for more.
